Privacy Policy

Cycle Diary is a period tracking app that works on your device. No account is required.

What data you provide

• Period and cycle dates, flow intensity, moods, symptoms, sexual activity, and notes you enter.
• Cycle length and period length settings, reminder settings, language choice, and app lock PIN or hint (if enabled).
• Pregnancy mode dates (if you use them).

How your data is used

• To show your calendar, history, and predictions for period and fertile windows based on your past entries.
• The app does not send your data to our servers and does not use analytics, ads, or tracking.

Where data is stored

• On your device, in the app's local database and settings.
• If you are signed in to iCloud, your entries also sync to your own private iCloud storage, so they can be restored on a new device. They never reach a server we operate, and we cannot read them.
• Your data is also included when you back up your device to iCloud, a Mac or a PC.

Export and import

• You can export your data as a CSV file or import a CSV file you choose.
• Exported files are saved to the location you select and can be shared by you. Keep them private if they include sensitive information.

Notifications

• Reminders are local notifications on your device.
• iOS asks for your permission before notifications appear.

Delete your data

• You can delete all app data from within the app. Uninstalling the app also removes local data.
• We do not keep copies on our servers.

Third parties

We do not share your data with any third party.

The app contains no advertising, no analytics and no tracking software of any kind.

The only service involved is Apple's iCloud, and only if you are signed in to it. Your entries sync to your own private iCloud storage under your Apple Account. Apple's handling of that data is covered by Apple's own privacy policy.

Who is responsible, and your rights

Cycle Diary is an independent app for iPhone. Questions about this policy, or about your data, can be sent to sinastudio.house@gmail.com.

Where the GDPR or UK data protection law applies, the entries you record are processed on the basis of your consent, which you give by choosing to record them. You can withdraw that consent at any time by deleting the entries, or by using Settings → Data → Delete all data, which removes everything including the copy in your own iCloud.

You already hold the rights of access, correction, export and erasure directly, without having to ask: everything you enter stays on your device and in your own Apple Account, and the app can show it, change it, export it as a CSV file and delete it. We keep no copy on any server of ours, so there is nothing for us to hand over, correct or erase on your behalf — and nothing we could be compelled to disclose about you.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page and the date above will change. The same text is available inside the app under Settings → About → Privacy & Disclaimer.
